The electric lint remover is a household device whose primary function is to improve the appearance and durability of garments.

Through a thorough Life Cycle Assessment, carried out with Simapro software, it emerged that the drive unit consisting of the battery, PCB, and electric motor has the greatest climate impact.

To reduce the environmental impact caused by the drive unit, we decided to remove it and exchange it for a mechanical system.

Inspired by handheld manual fans for children and their gear release system, we decided to apply that same system to a lint remover, as it has a lower impact on the environment. It also means the product is cheaper to produce and easier to repair.
